We need your Used Books, DVDs, Video Games and CDs! The Class of 2011 sells
donated Books, DVDs, CDs and Video Games online. We'd love to help you clear out
your shelves while donating to a worthy cause! We will be happy to arrange a time to
pick up items from your home.
We also need used bubble mailers or padded envelopes to ship
our SOLD items - so save those for us too! All address information
is obliterated before recycling.
925-336-9035 to arrange a pick up. Thanks for your support!
The Las Lomas Junior Prom will take place on Saturday, April 24th at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland. Tickets will go on sale at lunchtime in the Theatre Lobby beginning March 16th and will only be available on the following 6 dates (note that now tickets can also be purchased on-line - see notice above):
Tickets for Prom will be $80 for Las Lomas Juniors and $90 for dates/escorts from other Las
Lomas classes. The price for dates or escorts from other schools will be $95. In order to pur-
chase a ticket for a non-Las Lomas student, you must have an approved guest pass, signed
by the guest's school administrator.
At the time of ticket purchase, each student will be asked to:
- turn in Permission Slips (found on the Class of 2011 website or in the Main Office)
- select a table (tables seat 8 people; it is strongly recommended that groups purchase tickets at the same time to ensure group seating. Seats at tables cannot be 'held.'
Students must ride the luxury coaches to and from the Prom -no exceptions. This is a condition of the Acalanes High School District in allowing the Prom to be held off-site.
Formal Prom pictures will be taken in the school gym prior to boarding the coaches. Photography information will be distributed when students purchase tickets. Students must arrive at the school gym at 4:00PM for a 5:15PM departure.
The Acalanes High School District, Las Lomas staff, and parent volunteers are committed to an alcohol-free event. Each student will be breathalyzed before boarding the coach to and from the Prom. Breath mints such as Tic-Tacs and mint mouthwash can cause false-readings. Please do not use either immediately before being breathalyzed.
