Our last enews blast for the class of 2016 is bittersweet. As we “wrap” up this year and our high school journey together, we’d like to thank you parents of the sweet class of ‘16. Your generous and unending support throughout the past four years has been essential in making our graduates’ experience an amazing one. This Friday as we watch our students cross to receive their diplomas and launch into their next adventure in life. Let us cheer, laugh, hug, cry, and be proud. This is a class to be proud of. Memory boards and senior ball photos will be available for pick during graduation practice this Friday.

Leis Pick Up will be at the Snack Shack at the Las Lomas field starting on Friday, June 10th 5:00pm-8:00pm. If you missed the chance to purchase one in advance for your Grad, there will be a limited supply of extras on hand, but get there early (5:00pm) before we run out!

There is still time to volunteer for the All Knighter(grad night) at The Concord Centre.  There are multiple time slots and roles for setting up the venue & for working the event.

Junior parents – we ask that you consider taking on a role to assist at the venue while the Senior parents watch their students graduate on June 10th. Please find the link to the Signup Genius with full details here.

Graduation will be held Friday, June 10, 7:00 pm at the DeKlotz Stadium.  Tickets are not required to attend.  Bleacher seating is on a first come, first served basis. Gates open 5:00 pm.  No holding seats prior to 5:00 pm.  Reserved Seating: Las Lomas offers LIMITED reserved seating to family members of graduates who are unable to manage stair access and bleacher seating, (i.e. the elderly and/or those with a physical disability).   The reserved seating is located on the track area, in the center of the field, in folding chairs.  Seating is limited to the person(s) in need and one assistant, if necessary.  The reserved seating will include one reserved parking pass on the basketball courts.  Reservations must be made no later than June 6 via email to Allison Ridenhour.  Please include the following information in your email:
Graduate's name
Name(s) of people requesting seating:  indicate who is the person in need and who is the assistant
Will you be bringing:  wheelchair, walker, other?

Caps and Gowns:  Caps and gowns were delivered to students at the senior breakfast on Wednesday, June 1. Those not picked up are in the attendance office. Please contact Jostens at 925-838- 1835 if you have any questions.

Rehearsals: All seniors must attend a graduation rehearsal immediately following the last final exam on Friday, June 10.  Meet in the small gym by 12:30 pm for a 1-2 hour rehearsal and we will proceed to the stadium to practice for the evening's ceremony.  Students are required to report to the small gym by 6:00 pm to line up for the 7:00 pm graduation ceremony.

Attire:  Appropriate dress and ceremony demeanor is expected for this special evening. Please refrain from embellishing or decorating your Mortar boards (aka caps) per school administration. To prevent damage to the turf area, please wear flat heel shoes or wedges, not high-heeled shoes.

Photography:  GradImages will be on the field taking pictures of our graduates as they receive their diplomas.  Your proofs will be available to view and purchase online at www.gradimages.com.  If you have any questions, please contact customer service at 800-261-2576 or via email at giservice@gradimages.net  you will be receiving information about their services via email prior to graduation.

As graduation ends, there will be an opportunity to take your own pictures with family and friends. 

The All-Knighter: The All-Knighter(Grad night) for those students who signed up will be at the Concord Center.  Check in begins 9:00 pm.  Please note, there will be no admittance after 10:00 pm.

Send a note to a Graduating Senior!
Family and friends are invited to send a note for your special graduating senior to receive on graduation night via the All-Knighter Post Office. This is an easy way to send a “thinking of you” message, a favorite quote or a congratulatory note to a graduate. Email Messages to: LLclassof2016postoffice@yahoo.com by June 6th
Please include:
• Student’s first and last name in the subject line of email
• The senders name at the end (so student know who is sending the message)

Messages will be printed and placed in the Graduate’s post office box at the All Knighter!

All-Knighter Preview - Centre Concord, Sunday, June 5th, 6:00-9:00pm
Parents and family; Come and see the Class of 2016 All Knighter! You will be amazed by how Concord Centre has been transformed by many dedicated parents. (Entrance donations go to the Class of 2017’s All Knighter.) Please note, this preview is for parents and interested family members. The All Knighter party will be available for our graduating seniors after commencement on June 10th .
