Rossmoor Scholarship
The Rossmoor Scholarship is now accepting applications.  The Rossmoor Scholarship Foundation offers $3,000 scholarships with those recipients eligible for additional scholarships in specific areas.  Scholarships information and application are online.  Apply online.  Submit the completed application by February 2, 2018.

Lamorinda Democratic Club Scholarship
This scholarship offers $2,000 to a registered Democrat in Contra Costa County in support of pursuing an internship, training or educational opportunity.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Februrary 15, 2018. Winner announced April 2018.

Summer Interships
Many Academic Summer Enrichment signups have opened. Students interested in any STEM fields visit the COSMOS website.  Summer Medical programs: Google  FACES, Rosetta Institute, Dishie, Camp Cardic,  Engineering students look at Santa Clara, Cal Poly EPIC, DVC, Duke, Notre Dame programs.  Also go to Naviance look under Enrichment for more.

The College/Career Center is an information resource center of Las Lomas High School’s Counseling Office.  Students and parents are welcome to visit and are encouraged to use the many resources of the Center, some of which can be checked out for home use. These include information on the following:

NEW! Free online SAT and ACT test preparation
Las Lomas High School has provided you with access to Method Test Prep, an online course that helps students build their SAT and ACT test prep skills.

To use the program, you will need to set up an account by clicking on the following
link and filling in the signup information: Students will need to use the Referral Code: tkn.80164847 when setting up the account.

Naviance Family Connection
Naviance Family Connection is a tool to help students through the college search and application process.  At Las Lomas we will be using Naviance to request transcripts, communicate about scholarships, college representative visits, request counselor and teacher recommendations, facilitate the college search and application process, and more.  All students should have received Naviance username and password information. See Anne Fuller in the College/Career Center if you have any Naviance questions.
