"No amount of fundraising can equal the funds our schools will
receive with the passage of just one vital piece of legislation."
The laws enacted by local, state, and national bodies are primary sources of public policy, and Las Lomas PTSA is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our children’s welfare and education. A primary mission of PTSA is to have a vital and active Legislative Advocacy program that will:
- Keep parents informed about vital state and federal education issues
- Assist parents in developing the tools and skills of effective education advocacy
- Encourage individual and collective participation in the democratic process
- Vigorously advocate on issues that are of concern to local school communities
