PERFORMING ARTS FOUNDATION

Mission Statement
The mission of the Las Lomas Performing Arts Foundation (LLPAF) is to
enable and support the highest quality education and experience in the
performing arts at Las Lomas High School, and to foster an enhanced
appreciation of these arts in the school and local community.

What We Do
Volunteer members of the board provide our music and theatre arts directors with assistance in many areas including publicizing concerts and plays, preparing programs, preparing the venues for performances and receptions, planning and coordinating trips to performances and festivals, and raising funds.

Performing Arts Foundation contributions are used to hire professional coaches to conduct clinics, provide scholarships for music performance tours, repair and maintain school instruments and equipment, recognize and award outstanding students for their musical and theatrical achievements and much more.

Your Support is Important
Come out and enjoy the plays by our theatre students, and music concerts by the Concert and Symphonic Bands, Wind and Jazz Ensembles, and Choirs!  It is so rewarding to the students and teachers to perform and share the results of their hard work and many hours of practice, rehearsal and instruction.  Look for performance dates in the eBoletin throughout the year.

Fundraising and Partnership with the Walnut Creek Education Foundation
Funding for performing arts programs has become more critical as expenses have risen and school budgets have become leaner.  Your financial support is extremely important as we strive to maintain excellent programs.  You can do this in several ways:

The LLPAF collaborates with the Walnut Creek Education Foundation (WCEF) to raise needed funds to support academic programs at Las Lomas.  WCEF shares a portion of all donations made to WCEF at the $500 level or above with the LLPAF.  In return, those donors are designated LLPAF supporting members.

During Tri-S, purchase a Las Lomas sweatshirt and Performing Arts (Music or Theatre Arts) sticker.  Proceeds from sales benefit LLPAF.  Show your school spirit around town and beyond!

Become a supporting Member of the Las Lomas Performing Arts Foundation with a donation of $50 or more.  Mail your check to the school office:  LLHS, 1460 So. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA 94596.
