Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)

PTSA Fundraiser at Gott's. This event will raise needed funds and Gott's is being quite generous, donating 10% of all proceeds from the day of, (you don't need to say anything to get the donation, or bring a coupon, anything!). You can dine-in, (they have a patio and a picnic table area in back), or take-out a meal. All beverages are also included in the 10% give back. In fact, you don't even have to eat there (but you should!) because all gift card sales will also benefit the LLHS PTSA at 10%!  There will also be a drawing for a TIKTOK skateboard deck.

Graduation Information for Class of 2021


Graduation is almost here. We are happy to announce that we will be having a full graduation ceremony on campus on May 28th beginning at 5:00 pm. Because there are still restrictions in place, we will need to make some adjustments from our traditional ceremony, but we still anticipate this to be a memorable and exciting culminating event for the Class of 2021.


Here are some things to know:



Each student will be permitted four (4) guests to attend the live ceremony. CDPH guidelines are specific to capacity in outdoor venues and with our two sidelines of stands and extra chair seating on the field, we will be able to accommodate four guests per student graduate. Students will be provided tickets during graduation rehearsal. Tickets will be groups in “households” of 4 assigned seats, which will allow us to fit more guests into our facilities. The four tickets cannot be separated into different groupings. 


All guests and students will be required to wear masks when in the facility.


Live Streaming

Since many loved ones may not be able to attend due to health concerns or capacity restrictions, we are working with Walnut Creek TV to stream the event on their Youtube channel.



Students must attend a mandatory rehearsal at Las Lomas at 10:00 am on May 28th. We will be lining up in the rear basketball courts near the 700 wing portable classrooms. Students will walk through the ceremony so that we are ready for the evening event. This will take approximately 1 hour. Students will receive their tickets for graduation at rehearsal.


Student Arrival Time

Students are required to arrive at Las Lomas at 4:00 pm for graduation. They should come dressed in caps and gowns.  Students may decorate their caps with 2-D designs that are school appropriate. We begin walking at 5:00 pm, sharp!



There is extremely limited parking on campus in the front student parking lot. The parking lot will open at 3:00pm, but I strongly encourage parking off campus. The shopping center parking structure has hourly parking and is easily accessible from campus.  The staff parking lot in the front of campus will be reserved for disabled parking, which will require a reservation and medically issued disabled person placard or license plate.(See disabled seating for information about accommodations and reservations.)


There will be golf cart transportation from the front parking lot to the stadium for anyone with mobility issues. 


Guest Arrival

All guests must have a school-issued graduation ticket to enter graduation. All seats will be assigned in accordance with CDPH guidelines. Guests may enter the stadium beginning at 3:00pm through the main entrance, and all guests are requested to be seated by 4:30pm. All guests will check in and be directed to their seats by staff ushers. Parking can be tricky on graduation, so plan to arrive early enough to park and walk to campus. There will be golf cart transportation for people in need of assistance from the main parking lot.


Disabled Seating

Seating is also available for disabled guests or guests in need of special accommodations. Special seating is designated for people in wheelchairs or with walkers. These reserved seats will count towards the 4 seats assigned to each graduate. Please email Allison Ridenhour aridenhour@auhsdschools.org if your family needs to request special seating by Wednesday, May 19th.



We will have professional photographers from Studio1 photographing the graduates during the ceremony. We will also have multiple photo areas around campus for graduates and families to take photos before or after the ceremony. 


Other Info

Our graduation is usually about 2 hours long, but I anticipate that with additional distancing it may run a bit longer this year. It is typically hot on graduation day, but layers are recommended as the wind can pick up as the evening progresses. After graduation, students will be able to pick up their diplomas in the back basketball courts before reuniting with their families.
