On November 17th our teachers and administration were treated to a delicious holiday lunch hosted by Mel Brodskiy who is our PTSA volunteer taking care of our staff this year. Thanks Mel! It was enjoyed by all!



On November 17th, Eligible 16 and 17YO students were given the opportunity to pre-register to vote. The Voter Registration office secured 48 completed registration cards and several were given to students to fill out at home, and some did them online on the day. We are thrilled to get our students ready to vote as soon as they are eligible!

It’s time for WINTER - FINAL FUEL 2023 and we are in need of your help! Please sign up below to donate food items and/or volunteer for a shift handing out food to students as they walk to their 8:30am final exams. All food items must be prepackaged and individual servings. Donations can be brought to the LL Attendance Office on school days between 7:30am and 3:30pm or text Judith at 925-457-8508 for a drop off address. Please start donation delivery starting Wednesday, December 13th through Monday, December 18th. Please label all donations with WINTER FUEL. Following this presentation, participants will receive a free dose of Narcan. To receive your free dose, please complete this google form by January 8th at 12pm.

More about our speaker: Mariella Sanding began her position as the Coordinator for the Contra Costa County Medical Education and Disposal Safety (MEDS) Coalition in June 2022, shortly after she graduated from UC Merced with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and Psychology. Mariella is passionate about the coalition's mission to educate the community about prescription drug misuse and prevent fatal overdose from opioids, especially fentanyl. Mariella grew up in Alameda County and has always dreamed of coming back to the Bay Area to work and uplift the community in which she was raised.
