Sophomore - CLASS of 2029
Dear Class of 2029 Families,
Welcome back, Knights!
Can you believe our freshmen are now sophomores? Last year was filled with so many
milestones as our students navigated their first year of high school. We watched them grow in confidence, make new friends, get involved in clubs, sports, performing arts, and activities, and truly begin to find their place at Las Lomas. We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2029 and can't wait to see what this year has in store.
As your Parent Advisor Team, we want to begin by saying thank you. The incredible support from our sophomore families last year made such a difference. Whether you volunteered your time, donated, attended events, or simply cheered on our students, you helped make freshman year a success. We hope you'll continue partnering with us as we create another memorable year for our class.
As you complete your student's Online Registration, please take a moment to visit the Webstore. There are two important items we'd love for every family to consider:
Class of 2029 T-Shirt
Please purchase this year's class shirt! These shirts become much more than school spirit wear. Students proudly wear them throughout high school, especially during Homecoming Week, rallies, and class competitions. By senior year, it is so much fun to look back at each class shirt and remember the memories made along the way. It's a tradition many students treasure long after graduation.
Class of 2029 Parent Donation
We are once again asking families to consider a $100 donation to support sophomore class activities and events throughout the year. Your generosity helps fund class bonding events, Homecoming activities, spirit events, and other opportunities that build friendships and create lasting memories
It's important to know that student activities are not funded by the school. These experiences happen because of the generosity of our parent community. Every dollar donated goes directly back to creating meaningful experiences for our students, and every contribution, regardless of the amount, is greatly appreciated.
Homecoming is Coming!
Mark your calendars! Homecoming Week will culminate with the Homecoming Football Game on Friday, October 2. This is one of the most exciting weeks of the school year, with dress-up days, lunchtime activities, rallies, class competitions, decorating, and so much Knight pride.
One of the best parts of Homecoming is seeing parents join in the fun. We encourage everyone to volunteer, help decorate, cheer on our sophomores, and enjoy this special tradition alongside our students. Watch for additional information and our SignUpGenius volunteer opportunities coming soon
Finally, if you've ever thought about getting involved, we'd love to have you! Whether you have an hour to volunteer or want to help behind the scenes, every contribution makes a difference. Our Parent Advisor Team is here to support our students, and together we can make sophomore year one they'll never forget.

Class Donation
As parents one way we can support our kids is by supporting the events that bring the fun in for our students and help to create those special high school memories. These activities are not funded by the school so it is up to us as parents to do what we can do to raise funds for our students. We will also organize dine out nights and other fundraisers that can support our students and feel a part of their school community.
We're asking for a $100 donation per student, which goes directly to the Class of 2029 and helps fund important events over the next four years—things like Homecoming, Prom, Senior Activities, Graduation celebrations, and more fun throughout each year. We'd love to see every family contribute, whether it’s the full amount or whatever you’re able to give. Every bit helps!
Volunteer Opportunities
We have lots of ways to get involved in person, and we’d love to have your help! Whether it’s a one-time event or something ongoing, your time makes a big difference—and we promise to make it fun! If you're interested in volunteering, just email us at llknights2029@gmail.com or keep an eye out for opportunities on our social media and in the monthly newsletter.
Snack ShackWe will need your help for football season. One of the roles of the parent volunteers is to man the snack shack for all home games. Freshman families are asked to volunteer to work a shift for a game. We will send out sign up’s via email and post them on our socials.
