The Mask You Live In, a film by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. This film follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America's narrow definition of masculinity which often sends messages encouraging boys to disconnect from their emotions, objectify and degrade women, and resolve conflicts through violence. The film features experts in neuroscience, psychology, sociology, sports, education, and media, and illustrates how we can raise a healthier generation of young men. Admission is free. To register, go to ahsTheMaskYouLiveIn.eventbrite.com. Questions: Contact Holly Nolan or (415) 608-0222.
